AIRPORT ARRIVALS

We have arranged transportation from the airport to the resort on group dates (April 14 and 17). Please look for the Mitsubishi Motors sign in the baggage claim area. Should there be any delays with your travel, please advise Jane Elliott.

If you are traveling outside group dates, you are responsible for your transportation from the airport to the resort.

Look for the Mitsubishi Motors Hospitality Desk in the hotel’s main lobby. Here, you will receive a name badge for yourself and your guest. You will be asked to provide a credit card for your personal incidental charges upon check-in.

Departures and Airport transfers

Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Upon arrival, you will be advised of the exact details and your departure transfer information to the airport. Please settle your incidental account with the Front Desk before your check-out. If you have any questions, please stop by the Mitsubishi Motors Hospitality Desk.

Are we responsible for booking our flights? Do we pay for them?

Mitsubishi will cover the flight costs for both you and your significant other. Please fill out the registration form online. The Air Manager at Atmosphere Concierge will send you flight recommendations for your approval before booking flights.

Will I be charged for this event?

• You will not be charged for this event; however, it is a taxable benefit. MMSCAN will issue a T4 for this event for the calendar year 2024.

 What’s Included?

• Round-trip flights from your home city to Cancun, Mexico
• Round-trip transfers from the airport to Secrets Akumal on group dates (April 14 and 17)
• Accommodations at Secrets Akumal from April 14 to 17
• Meals and activities as outlined in the Day-by-Day Agenda

 What is not included?

• Transfers to/from your departure airport
• Personal expenses

Can I bring a friend, colleague, or relative to the event?

• This program is designed for winners and their significant others or partners. Friends, colleagues, and relatives are not part of this particular program.

Can I arrive early or extend my trip?

• Should you want to extend your trip, the resort is based on availability, and you will be responsible for paying for that expense. If you extend your stay at the group resort, the extension rate is USD 259 plus applicable taxes per person per night based on double occupancy.
• Please indicate any potential extensions during the registration process.
• Should you wish to extend flights, please indicate your travel dates during registration.

Do I need travel insurance?

It is strongly recommended that you have adequate insurance before your trip.

What is the Climate in Mexico?

• During your stay in Mexico, daytime temperatures average 24°C – 30°C.

 What is the recommended Attire?

• During the day, suggested attire is Beach Casual – cover-ups are requested for the restaurants during lunch.
• Cocktail attire for the ladies, jacket for the gentlemen for the Awards evening.
• Many restaurants have outdoor seating (with a more casual dress code) and indoor seating; wearing more elegant attire, including closed-toe shoes, is required.
